Madison's 1st Birthday!!!

My precious little neice celebrated her first birthday Saturday evening. She looked absolutely precious. My sister in law made her a gorgeous blue tutu, and she had the prettiest birthday hat. The theme was snowflakes and Dianna went all out! Everything was snowflakes!! Even Madison looksed like one. It was so cute. The kids got to make miniature ginger bread houses, and snowflake ornaments. They played pin the carrot on the snowman. And of course the adults drank snowflake martinis. My sister in law always goes above and beyond for her kiddos birthdays. I am always jealous when I leave them. We of course had to leave my only neices 1st birthday party early, because of the Cowboy game (what a waste that ended up being).

Here is a pic of the beautiful birthday girl.

Christmas 2008

Well we had really good intentions on taking the kids to Little Elm Saturday to see the annual Christmas parade, tree lighting and visit with Santa. I planned ahead and looked online first thing Saturday to see what time the parade started. I had everyone rearing and ready to go, and we were actually going to be on time. Well we get to Little Elm park and sure enough the website was wrong. The parade had finished approx. 15-20 minutes before we got there. The day was not a total waste though. The kids got to eat some pizza, watch the tree lighting and of course visit with the Big Guy himself Santa Claus. Tyler this year did not want to sit on Santas lap. He said he was too shy....not real sure what that was all about, perhaps he is starting to question things.....who knows. Kinsey of course decided to give Santa a HUGE long list of things. Santa finally had to tell her to take a pause and look at the camera. I think next year we will have her just give him her list, because there is quite a long line. Kinsey did ask though, "How come he doesn't talk like the real Santa?". I do not remember being that observant when I was a kid. Kaydence, of course starting screaming the INSTANT I let go of her. I was able to back up enough for a picture and then swooped in to rescue her. She is such a chicken.....I figured she would at least stare at him for a few minutes and then freak out. Nope, that didn't happen. Here are some pics of the day! Somehow I manage to never get a decent pic with all 3 of the kids together.....
